Today was the start of the summer holidays.

If today is to go by, then the summer can not finish quick enough.

Dad has been working away, so i have been left with the kids since yesterday.!!!!

This day started ok, this morning was a really lazy one. I had lovely Huggles with my youngest as dad was not here. Kai my 12 yr old got up at an ok time and sat watching you tube downstairs, while the eldest two slept.

I got up just gone, this was a lovely lay in.. i got dressed and done the normal mummy chores. Hoovering, sorting dinner in the slow cooker, making sure the youngest had had a wash and toasted crumpets for us all, along with sorting the washing.

After all this things started to go down hill, the weather has been horrible and rained all day. This has stopped the kids from going out in the garden. So due to this they played on their laptops/computers. My eldest son is fine and just gets on with things, however my 7yr old and 12 yr old fight and argue more or less none stop. All i feel i do is shout at them and split them up.

After lunch, me and the boys braved the rain and went to the shop. Keeley had the right idea and stayed indoors. I can’t get my head round the fact she has reached the age she can stay home on her own. I don’t think i ever will. As it was raining this morning i had mentioned to the kids about watching the lego batman movie, so that what we done after we got back from the shop. So sweets and movie = peace. It was nice why it lasted, arguments started up after the movie and dinner. So i have resulted in splitting them up, i have found my self saying that he will be banned from gaming computers all weekend if he is not careful. I really don’t want to do that as it will make the weekend along one.

So today started ok, took a turn for the worse but seems to be ok at the moment. Fingers crossed they start getting on. Tomorrow dad will be home, so he can sort the devil children!!

So bring it has been one of those days and it’s the weekend!!! Wine o’clock has arrived.
