It’s been weeks since I last wrote a blog…

So what better then to leave the blog that I’ve been working on for weeks…..yes weeks….. and do an update on my none exciting and crazy life and of course to say hi to all my new followers and likers. Your love is so appreciated ❤️❤️ hopefully this blog will actually not take so long and actually get published! Im not doing to good at the moment though… that is one of the joys of it being half term!!!! Bloody xbox…. Kids……computers…..schools…

Life is pretty full on at the moment, the last blog I posted was just after christmas!!! What’s that all about????? I don’t seem to have 5 minutes to do anything at the moment…. And its starting to do my head in, trying to juggle everything is near impossible….. nope change that it is impossible…. Please send help and share your fairy godmother as mine seems to have done one!

I’m a mum to 4 kids, 3 of which are teenagers and a 9 year old. I am married to my soul mate, but life is pretty tough as he reaches nearly a year in remission for bowel cancer and recovery from 2 operations, one of which being a bloody huge op. I’m also chief feeder and cleaner upper to two dogs and two cats… I must be crazy!!!!!

So for the past so many weeks I’ve not known if I’m coming or going… I blink and the day is over!!!
So a long with being a mum, wife, cleaner upper to 4 animals and a mummy blogger, I run a business with the hubby. Is there any wonder I enjoy a glass or two of something alcoholic at the weekends???

I started my blog about a year and a half ago.. I was a stay at home mum that had recently gained a BA degree in Social care. I was trying to find a job and start a new chapter in my life with the challenges of being a mum and having hubby that worked away. Looking for a job was anything but easy…. I had knock back after knock back….on more then one occasion I never even heard back from the employer. I think the most common knock back I got was that I did not have the experience for the roll!!!!! How on earth am I going to get the experience when no one will give me a chance, the fact that I had a degree never came in to it.

Things started to get to much for me… I started to feel really low and like I had wasted 3 years of my life on the degree, hubby worked away and I felt worthless. I was spending a lot of time searching all things working on the internet and came across blogs from other mums. They was sharing their stories about the daily challenges they face, Mental health, single parenting, their jobs, the challenges faced bringing up children…. The list went on!! I found these blogs so inspirational, they made me look at my life in a different way….. to the point that one day I found all the courage from deep down and started to share my own journey. The challenges that I faced daily, the challenges I faced as a mum to four children and a hubby that worked away. Who knows…. I maybe able to help just one person realise they are not alone by me sharing my daily challenges that I face as a mum…the highs and the lows!!!

Within a few weeks of starting my blog, my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer! We was of course totally devastated and don’t think even to this day it has properly sunk in. So after searching the internet for all things cancer!!! I decided that It was all a pile of poop and was going to include mine and my families cancer journey in my blog. I’m so glad I did, I’ve had the most amazing support and have even had our story shared on bowel cancer UK and then my story shared in “Chat”magazine… what more could I ask for???

So fast forward several months….. Hubby is in remission with his check up fast approaching!!!! Everything staying crossed for this and praying the cancer has not come back!!! The Digital solutions and marketing business that I set up with hubby is growing steadily and keeping me busy.
I have a child that I have declared a part timer in sixth form, thanks to new school rules… so my job description currently includes full time personal taxi driver. I have a child that is sitting his GCSE’S after easter …which will give me two children that have left compulsory education come the summer!!!!! Not sure when they got to this age but I’m not happy about it and anything but ready to except it. I will then after easter have a child that is starting his GCSE’S… don’t ask as he is only year 9 and then the youngest is going away for the first time ever on a school trip!!!!! When the hell did my kids grow up????

So with life being crazy busy and me not having 5 minutes I’m really struggling to do anything what so ever to do with “Wonder Mami”  I worked hard to get my page up and going and I’m not going to stop…. My aim is to help open and honest and support as many people as I can and hopefully one day bring in an income and support my family just like other mummies. However what seems like over night my babies have grown and need me at the moment…. One more so then the others and this is ok. As one day they wont be there, they will always need their mum but they will have their own life!!!!
