Shopping with 4 kids and hubby in the sales…. surely it can’t be that bad?????
The eldest 3 kids had been told before they went to bed that they had to be ready for a set time the following day as we was going out. You could tell they was anything but happy about this as, they came out with ‘great so no lay in’
So it came to no surprise that we never made it out on time….. and that was after telling a child to hurry up and get a move on, and he still left the house with out his shoes on properly.
The journey to the shops was peaceful and we even made it around a few shops and i managed to get some great bargains. I was feeling pretty chuffed, i had made it to ‘Lush’ and got some Christmas sale bath bombs and had not moaned once at the kids. However i did have a child come and ask me what other shops we was going in as he felt sick, this did not stop him from looking around lush though.
On the way back to the car i remembered that the eldest two needed school shoes. Within a few minutes of being in the shop, hubby came in and said he was taking Kai back to the car as he was still feeling ill. So we got the shoes sorted and went and got some birthday cards and wrapping paper, Cameron even chose a card for Keeley’s birthday which is not until February, organised we will be lol.
On the way home hubby decided he needed to go to Halfords, so as pound stretcher was next door me and 3 kids went and nosed in there while Roger and Cameron went in to Halfords. We had a good look and picked up a few bits, the kids even behaved. 
Well that was short lived as Cameron and his dad caught up with us in the shop… There went the peace and sensible shopping…. Cameron and Rylee never seem to learn when we are out and most of the time mess around when we are in the shops!!! They are as bad as each other even being the youngest and eldest son who should know better.
Even with the messing around at the end, and the child feeling sick, who i may add was fine when we got home. I think you can say we had a pretty successful shopping trip, and a bonus being we spent time together as a family even if it was shopping in the sales. !!!
