It’s my youngest sons birthday next week, my baby will be 8yrs. During the week we went food shopping and as my youngest was with us, i let him choose his birthday cake.
Like any child, this was not an easy thing to do. It was a big store, so the selection was quite wide compared to our small store.
So after a few minutes of looking at all the cakes and taking them off the shelf. He got it down to two cakes, 
so there i am thinking to myself, this was not as hard as i thought it was going to be. After thinking for a minute or two, he had decided his birthday cake. Little monkey already had one cake as he had an early birthday party. The joys of being born in the summer holidays.
So just as the cake was going in the trolly, kai my 12yr old decided to show rylee another cake…… I was like nooooooooooo!!!!! Rylee has decided, however the cake that kai had spotted was a child’s dream cake… It was covered in sugar………
The sugar intake that my children will consume next week is going to be crazy. On the plus side, i suppose the cake will last longer as you only need a small slice.
